One of the first issues you may encounter with a new spa is how to fill it properly. The normal thought is to simply place a hose in the spa and start filling. Unfortunately, this method will trap air in the spa's internal plumbing which often is difficult or impossible for the spa to remove on its own.This is especially the case in Spas with circulation pumps. Filling the spa through the filter ports is the best way to fill your spa. The following tutorial will guide you through the simple process of filling your spa.
Identify Filter Compartment, Remove Shield by simply pulling it up
Remove filters by turning them counterclockwise
After Filters have been removed, the filter connection ports will now be exposed. Identify if one of the ports has a mesh screen. If so, this will be where your spa will be filled first.
Fill spa through the port with screen until footwell area is filled.
Move hose to other filter port (if applicable), and fill until full
